Gong + Parse

Analyze call outcomes, coaching opportunities, and deal risks.

How does Parse access my Gong data?

Parse connects to your Gong account through a single admin-level API integration. A technical administrator at your organization authorizes the connection once, and Parse then securely retrieves call metadata and transcripts for analysis. There is no individual user-level login to Gong required.

Can individual users see call transcripts in Parse?

No. Parse does not display raw call transcripts to users. Instead, Parse processes call data in bulk to generate aggregated analyses, insights, and summaries. Individual transcript content is not browsable within the application.

How are Gong user permissions handled?

Because Gong's API authenticates at the tech admin level (not per-user OAuth), Parse receives access to call data across your organization. However, since Parse only surfaces aggregated analytics and high-level summaries — not raw transcripts or individual call recordings — individual Gong call-level permissions do not directly apply within Parse. Your organization's Gong admin controls which data is shared through the integration.

Is my call data secure?

Yes. Parse processes call data securely and does not store raw transcripts beyond what is needed for analysis. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Only authorized members of your organization can access the resulting insights and analytics within Parse.

Who in my organization should authorize the Gong connection?

The integration should be authorized by a Gong technical administrator who has permission to manage API access. This is typically someone in your IT, RevOps, or Sales Operations team.
